The Great Orb Project, a Runecrafting game, can be found in the Runecrafting Guild. Players must have a Runecrafting Level of at least 50, and RuneScape gold must have completed Rune Mysteries. The minigame features 60 worlds that are available to registered players and 61 worlds available to play for free.

The minigame can be found within the Runecrafting Guild, through a portal located on the second floor of Wizard's Tower. The tower is located south-east of Draynor Village. It can be reached via the East portal in the Wizards’ Guild. Players have to move as many orbs as they can to the altars to achieve the team's colour. The team that has the highest number of orbs at end of the timer is the winner.

Tips. Tip. It is recommended to have at minimum eight inventory space (or 6 if your are not a member) for the crafted runes. This will eliminate the requirement for banking runes following every game. Keep the most essence you can until the end the time when Nature runes could be made. Nature runes are among the most profitable runes, and are sold for around 310 coin each.

Eliminate the essence of the mind round to make way for the water round. These give you more experience and valuable runes that the ones on the altar to the mind. Water runecrafting gloves can increase your experience gain. The exception is when the player is looking for mind runes, when using the mind altar, it will save a lengthy and boring route.

Air runecrafting gloves are saved by free players. They can use the essence to create more experiences and boost the value of runes. This is particularly true considering the rapid decrease in the value of body runes have since the game's start. For players who are free, the experience per essence increases per round. After buy OSRS gold the water altar however, the rune production value decreases.
