Decimal value parsing

Post by entrecour » Sat 08 Dec 2012, 21:28

Hi,

First of all this is my first post and I just want to compliment you on your great software.

I use UK / American language settings and in particular I use . for decimal and , for thousands ( e.g. 123,456,789.00) and even though this was apparently fixed in 2.0.2.2 client I have temperatures from temperatur.nu (from Sweden) being parsed incorrectly e.g. 6,7 raw data becomes 67.0 instead of 6.7

Seems to be the same or similar issue flagged here...

I really don't want to change my language settings.

Hopefully you can confirm this issue.

Thanks, David.

P.S: I am using the latest versions of TelldusCenter (2.1.1) and SwitchKing Client 3.0.1.0 and Server 3.1.0.5.
I am running on Windows 8 Release Preview 32bit fully updated.

Hi,

We have looked into this and noted that this case where values come in to Switch King with comma as decimal separator will not be presented properly in the client if you are using US regional settings (dot as decimal separator). The other way around works fine.

We are about to release a new version of the client, but we will try to include a fix for this as well.
